Home Sweet Home in Scottsdale, Arizona is an assisted living facility with an intimate setting and one-on-one care for individuals who flourish in more personal settings. Perhaps our atmosphere is influenced by the fact that our home is located on Cheery (not Cherry) Lynn Rd, which means we try to make each day as cheerful as possible for everyone who shares our home.

Putting our heart into our care starts the moment you walk in the door — when we know you will immediately feel at ease, as you would in your own home.

We encourage our residents to personalize their spaces and other areas of the home by bringing cherished items like favorite mementos, collections and family photos. We have had collections of Kachina Dolls and baseball cards lining the mantle, and there are always shelves full of books and magazines in the den, all of which make it feel just like your own home.

We encourage residents to retain as much independence as possible. This includes performing as many of the functions of daily living, as well as stimulating our residents' social and physical activities daily. We love to share special events with residents and families — birthdays, holidays and more — and there is plenty of space available for small parties. We've even have barbecues on the back patio. Of course, we are also prepared to fully support and assist with any needs our residents may have from requirements of daily living to special diets and more.

In the common area of the house, there are two separate seating rooms and an activity room. This allows residents to watch television together, or to pursue quieter activities like putting together puzzles, reading or listening to music. For residents with a green thumb, the backdoor covered patio and landscaped yard have plenty of space to grow flowers, shrubs or even a vegetable or two (Arizona weather permitting, of course). Bathrooms located throughout the home are wheelchair accessible and meet all ADA standards. Six private or companion rooms are available, and can be tailored to the needs of each individual's level of care.
